Named after Mah Laqa Chanda, the celebrated Urdu poet and cultural patron who established her voice in the literary world of 18th-century Hyderabad, the Mahlaqa print honours a woman remembered for her intellect, artistic independence and quiet authority.

Painterly roses unfold across the dress in shades of amber, burnt coral, muted gold and deep olive, giving the print the depth and softness of an aged floral painting.

Cut from fluid 100% silk, the Mahlaqa Silk Long Dress features a softly shaped bodice with a rounded neckline and a slender front keyhole finished with delicate tie cords. Full-length balloon sleeves bring gentle volume, while the defined waist opens into a finely pleated maxi skirt that moves beautifully with every step.

A detachable self-fabric belt allows the waist to be styled more closely or left relaxed and may be tied at the front or back. The body is lined in smooth 100% crepe for coverage and comfort while preserving the light, fluid character of the silk.
